About me
Hi, I’m Esma! My journey into UX/UI design began with my background in communication design, which I studied for five years at HTL Bau und Design in Innsbruck before graduating in 2020. While working at Gronda from January 2021 to May 2023, I discovered my passion for UX/UI and decided to dive deeper into this field.
Today, I work as a Senior UX Designer & Lead at Porsche Holding, where I oversee the UX strategy and design process for multiple products. My role goes beyond just creating wireframes—I mentor junior designers, conduct user research (interviews, A/B tests), and analyze data to refine user experiences. I collaborate closely with Product Managers, Stakeholders, and Development Teams to ensure that design decisions are user-centric and business-aligned. Balancing multiple projects while keeping an eye on the bigger picture is a challenge I embrace every day.
What excites me most about UX/UI is its constant evolution—there’s always something new to learn, refine, and improve. I believe great design isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about creating seamless, intuitive experiences that make people’s lives easier. That’s why I continuously expand my skills, whether through real-world challenges or courses like Google’s "Foundations of UX."
